Haplocloa falx is a fairly small grass and is a tufted perennial. The inflorescence is a one-sided grey spike that typically curls back when ripe. It normally grows on rocky slopes in mountainous grassland.

Haplocloa falx is a lovely small grass, ideal  for landscaping. The curled seeds are very attractive. Trim back once a year to keep it tidy.
