Helichrysum cymosum is a hardy scrambling, small shrub has grey wooly leaves with densely wooly undersides with a sharp tip. The compact yellow flower heads are carried at the tips of the branches from September to February.

Plant Helichrysum cymosum in sun or semi-shade. It also grows in damp conditions. It is a lovely foliage plant to add silver and texture to mixed plantings.
