Helichrysum umbraculigerum is a tufted perennial herb that can reach a height of 1m tall. Helichrysum umbraculigerum is heavily grazed and makes for a beautiful border when mass planted together.
Plant Description

Helichrysum umbraculigerum is a tufted perennial herb that can reach a height of 1m tall. The young parts are grey and thinly woolly and leafy.  The leaves often vary but is mostly 20-80x3-25mm large, greyish woolly above and woolly beneath. The flowers are borne in crowded clusters webbed together with wool forming umbrella like inflorescence that are golden yellow. These golden flowers are borne between January and April.

Helichrysum umbraculigerum  and is an excellent filler in herbaceous beds, flowering at a time when little else is colourful. Mass planting is recommended.

It is an excellent cut flower.
