Ledebouria floribunda is one of the largest ledebourias in South Africa. It occurs in grassland and on stony slopes in the Northern provinces of South Africa. It can vary in size and the larger of these variants can possess leaves reaching 500 mm high. The flower spikes are characterised by the high number of flowers on the inflorescence which can often reach one hundred or more. The attractively marked leaves make this species an interesting addition to the garden where it can be grown in full sun or dappled shade.
Plant Ledebouria floribunda on a rockery between other waterwise plants and give it a sunny spot.
