Plant Description

Ledebouria socialis is a hardy little bulb that forms dense colonies usually no more than 15cm tall. The bulbs are above ground. The silvery leaves are speckled green. Easygoing and undemanding, best in partial shade but will tolerate sun. Sweet little green and white flowers on short stems are outdone by the pretty and curious foliage. It is very drought tolerant.

Due to its size, Ledebouria socialis is best suited to pot culture or can be planted in a small garden in semi-shade.
