Plant Description

Marsilea schelpeana is an aquatic or semi-aquatic fern with a creeping stem, bearing stalked, floating leaves. The attractive green leaves are roundish and smooth. The plant can either be free-floating or anchored in mud.

Marsilea schelpeana is found in areas that become marshy after rain, but dying down when dry.
