Plant Description

The beautiful Nerine falcata is normally associated with dolomitic outcrops where it can grow in abundance. Flowers vary from a dark cerise-pink to a light pink and is produced  in a huge spherical umbel of strongly recurved, large,  flowers each borne on a 25cm long peduncle. Even the broad, light-green leaves that can reach 20cm in length is quite attractive. However, it is a very slow grower.

Nerine falcata is ideally suited to a rockery in either sun or semi-shade. It is a slow grower. Do not overwater.
