Phygelius capensis is a hardy shrublet that will grow in wet and damp areas as well as normal garden conditions. Deep-red, tubular, drooping flowers are produced in summer.  Phygelius capensis  grows in sun or semi-shade. Prune back after flowering to keep it looking neat and tidy.

Both birds and butterflies love it.
