Plant Description
Plumbago zeylanica is a very hardy, evergreen, shade loving, scrambling shrublet with pale green leaves that have grey-green undersides. This is a useful small shrub for sun or shade. The long arching stems can be trained into a climber. Masses of white flowers are borne in summer and is followed with brown, sticky seed capsules.
Plumbago zeylanica occurs naturally on the Witwatersrand and is drought tolerant.
