Rhoicissus digitata, a fairly hardy robust woody climber has attractive foliage that has russet coloured new growth. The fruits are red brown to purple large berries. The flowers attract many insects and the fruits attract birds. The leaves are browsed by game.

Rhoicissus digitata can be used as a screen or can be draped over a large rock. It can only handle light frost since it is a forest specie.
