Rhoicissus revoilii has leaflets that are glossy green above, but reddish-brown below and that makes it very attractive.

Rhoicissus revoilii is usually a scrambling shrub or sometimes a small tree. Leaves 3-foliolate, ovate, with lateral leaflets strongly asymmetrical, densely covered in rusty or grey-green hairs, mainly on the under surface. Flowers in dense heads, leaf-opposed, yellowish-green, covered in rusty, woolly hairs. Fruit fleshy, 2-lobed with a warty surface.

Rhoicissus revoilii can be used as a screen or can be cascaded over a rock outcrop. It is drought resistant and can tolerate light frost.
