Salvia africana-caerulea is a hardy, evergreen, small to medium sized shrub with aromatic, grey leaves and is clump forming. Clusters of pale blue, funnel shaped flowers are borne from June to December and when the flowers fall off a decorative, calyx remains.

Salvia africana-caerulea is an attractive, easy plant to grow. Plant in a well-drained soil. It can withstand mild frost.
