It bears magnificent, large heads of orangey-red flowers early in spring. They are followed by very decorative, red berries that are relished by birds.
Scadoxus multiflorus ssp multiflorus is an excellent garden and container plant. Plant in well-drained soil in semi-shade and do not overwater.
