Sporobolus stapfianus is a short, fine, tufted grass with beautifully rolled leaves. Due to its size, it is an ideal grass for a small, compact rockery where it can be interplanted with perennials. When in flower, Sporobolus stapfianus almost creates a misty look. The curly leaves look pretty in winter, but it can also be cut back.
