Vigna vexillata is a beautiful creeper that sprouts annually from a woody rootstock. The pea-like flowers occur in spring until summer.

Vigna vexillata prefers a spot under a tree with an open canopy. The trailing stems are not very vigorous, neither very dense and it will work well even in a small garden.
