Juncus kraussii is a hardy, evergreen, tufted perennial rush that grows in wet areas. Although it prefers a wet spot it is also happy in a garden where the soil is a bit heavy.
Plant Description

Juncus kraussii is a hardy, evergreen, tufted perennial rush that grows in wet areas. The flowers are small, dry and scaly and crowded at the tips of the long thin stems in spring and summer. The little seeds are golden brown.

It is a useful addition to a wetland garden and should be planted in the sun.
